Hi all,
Does anyone know how to apply a temperature gradient along the walls of a simple channel (so wall temperature varies in the streamwise direction). I'm looking at using rhoCentralFoam to simulate a surface temperature gradient driven gas flow. Can I manage this with groovyBC? Thanks |

What you want is a boundary condition with a variable value depending of the position ?
I don't know if OF has a derived boundary able to do this. Usually people use the "swak4foam" library to perform this kind of special boundary. You can use the groovyBC, google will help you. The official website is here : http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/Contrib/swak4Foam And an example is here : http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/Contrib_groovyBC |
