Hi Foamers,
I have a problem of k and epsilon not converging in MRFSimpleFoam. The following are some of the things i tried to make it converge but in vain. i. changed the fvSchemes from Gauss limitedLinearV 1 to Gauss linearUpwind ii. changed the fvSolution nNonOrthogonalCorrectors 1; (from 0 to 1). iii. solved laminar for few hundred iterations at lower speed. increased the speed in stepwise with k-e on. iv.Changed the initial values of k and epsilon. None of them gave the convergence of k and epsilon. I am attaching my fvSolution/fvSchemes/k and epsilon files for your reference. Please let me know if I am doing any blunder. Any help in convergence, would be of great help. |

Have you tried Gauss upwind for the divergence terms for k and epsilon? TVD schemes for k and epsilon always diverge for me.
