Hi all,
I was wondering whether there is a complete tutorial available for OpenFOAM, including the full process? So from the import of CAD data, to post-processing the results. I've searched for quite a while, but can't find any relevant information about the pre processing phase. Does someone know, where I can find such tutorials? Thanks in advance! Regards, Yuriy |

You'll probably want to mesh your geometry with snappyHexMesh. That's a built-in OpenFOAM mesher suitable for most things. Quite alot of people seem to use the HelyxOS GUI pre-processor to help set up the case. This way you can run snappyHexMesh by a graphical rather than command-line interface. If you search, there are a couple of youtube tutorials explaining how to use Helyx. They will show you how you can import and mesh the model.
