Hello All:
I am looking for advice in modeling flow in a drinking water storage tank. I have some past experience with Fluent. I have gone through the Openfoam tutorials and ran a few of my own test cases on smaller meshes but am otherwise fairly new to Openfoam. The test cases I have run used simplefoam to model single phase incompressible isothermic flow. I would like to progress to a multiphase model that includes water in the bottom of the tank overlain with a layer of air and includes buoyancy effects from differential water temperatures. In looking at the models, I have not seen any that combine multiphase flow and heat transfer. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance. |

It seems that the best option is to write a new solver combining interFoam with buoyantBoussinesqPimpleFoam.
