Mixed convection with buoyantBoussinesqPimpleFoam

Dear all,
I am using the buoyantBoussinesqPimpleFoam to solve a mixed convection problem: vertical flow over a heated cylinder. I want to study the vortex street, so I set Reynolds number to 100 (I also tried a very high Reynolds number). But the flow is always in laminar and velocity field keeps increasing. Inlet velocity is a fixed value (1 m/s for Re=100) and outlet is zero gradient. In RASProperties, RASModel laminar; turbulence off; printCoeffs off. Does anyone have any idea about this? Thanks in advance. |
