88 is nothing compared to the 2000 I have been getting . I am fairly frustrated with the lack of controls in Workbench. Whenever I get some down time I will have to investigate using the native OpenFOAM meshing.

Hello,
I noticed similar trends in which high Reynolds numbers or presence of bluff bodies in flow path at low Reynolds numbers causing this. Higher residuals in these cases I think is mostly due to the very fact of attempting to solve increasingly unsteady flows with a steady-state solver like simplefoam. |
