I am currently testing the reactingParcelFilmFoam solver to simulate thin film flow down an inclined plane. I am unsure how the parameter deltaWet is calculated in the surfaceFilmProperties file.

In the contactAngleForce library the deltaWet parameter is defined as "Threshold film thickness beyond which the film is 'wet'". How would I go about defining a suitable value for this parameter? In the rivuletPanel tutorial deltaWet = 1e-4. How is this value chosen?

Thanks.

I am still unsure about this. Has anyone got any ideas on how to choose an appropriate value for deltaWet?
