Hello Foamers!
i'm still kind of new to openfoam and i would really appreciate some help, i would like to know if there is a BC that can introduce a velocity discontinuity in the solver, i'm trying to simulate a wind turbine in simpleFoam, i have already done it with a bodyForce and the Fan BC (pressure jump) so my question is: is there a BC similar to the Fan BC but instead of making a pressure jump, that it would make a velocity jump? i'm digging deep into the codes and i think i'm getting more confused than anything else thanks for your responses in advance Oscar |

Hi Oscar,
Have you got any further with the Velocity Jump Boundary condition. I am looking for the same for a fan circulating air in a closed Region. If you come across something. Kindly share. Thanks & Regards Unnikrishnan, |
