Hi,

I want to calculate the pitzdailyExptinlet case with simpleFoam.
Running this case without any changes from the tutorial, Open Foam says the simulation is converged after around 930 iterations. But if you have a look at the U velocity in paraview, you recognize that only the U boundary condition at the inlet area is calculated. In the whole mesh the velocity is zero.
(With the standard pitzdaily case there is not a problem and you get a velocity field for the whole mesh.)

Could anybody explain me what I have to change in the code to reach a fully converged solution for the whole pitzdailyExptinlet case?

Thank you in advance,

Marc
