Dear Foamers,

I searched a lot through this forum, but still have some questions.

I would like to do a Deatched Eddy Simulation using SpalartAllmarasIDDES with OpenFOAM.

My questions

1.) How can I observe the convergence of the Reynolds Stress Tensor? I know that I can postprocess the Reynolds Stresses, but it would be desirable to plot/watch the residuals of the stress.

2.) In some tutorial cases, there is an initialization of "B" in 0-folder which corresponds to the modeled Reynolds Stress Tensor. But there was no output of this tensor "B" through the solver.
Why is there this initialization? The solver works without it, and there is no output. How could an output be achieved?

3.) How is an optimal initialization for nut and nuTilda in 0-folder?

Thank you a lot for an answer in advance.

Kind Regards
Anne
