the interface reconstruction in InterFoam

Hi, everybody,I am studying the source codes of the InterFoam recently, as far as I known, for VOF method,you have to reconstruct the interface between different phases based on the solution of the volume fraction, however, I haven't seen the codes of the interface reconstructing, So could anybody tell me which kind of interface reconstructing method is used in the solver,and its corresponding codes in interFoam. And also I don't understand the transporting equation of volume fraction (alpha) they used in the solver, so could anybody explain it,or show me the exact formulation of alpha?

Hello Young

no interface reconstruction is carried out in interFoam, as the VOF equation is diffusive an artificial compressive term is added. As pointed out by Anton, check those references for full details.
