Hi,

i have a question regarding the movingWallVelocity BC:

In my calculations i compare two different setups using the velocityLaplacian meshMotion solver:

A) Use the same dirichlet velocity BC at the moving wall as the velocity in my cellMotion U file (such that in my interpretation the relative velocity is zero).
B) Use the movingWallVelocity (0,0,0) BC and use the same cellMotion U velocity as in case A)

As i understand these pair of calculations should lead to the same result.
But as you can guess now they don't.

Do you have any suggestions?
thanks a lot

Dear fisch,

Recently I have the same confusion as you proposed. I'm wondering have you figured it out?

Thanks,

Hi, I got the same results. Had you tried to compare them? Would you mind to share how much is the difference btwn your result? and which result looks more logic? Thanks
