Hi Foamers,
Case description: Now I have a rocking bags containing certain liquid and air, some chemical reaction allow the liquid release O2. The production rate of O2 is treated as passive scalar. The flow is laminar and calculated by VOF method. Problem: Using InterDyFoam I can easily get the flow field, but how to compute the passive scalar transport equation based on the two-phase field? The air won't produce O2. I think the scalarFoam is not good enough for multi-phase field. I've tried to implement a passive scalar eq. in the InterDyFoam solver but failed. Any better solution for this problem, any hints? THX in advance. Yuli |
