I wonder whether particle diamerter must smaller than grid size for colliding cloud or icoUncoupleParcelFoam. where restrict this things in the algorithm of OF implimenting.
thanks in advance! xz |

Hi Xz,
To me it seems, there is not any limitation of grid size in the solver (icoUncoupleParcelFoam) as it is uncoupled, however this is not the case when you have coupling case. And the problem comes in the drag models, where in case you have particle size greater than the the cell size, it will create problems. Then you are supposed to go for resolved methods. Hope this might be of some help. |
