access to field data -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

sepp New Member johannes Join Date: Feb 2011 Posts: 7 Rep Power: 15	hey I'm working on a interpolationScheme based on upwindFitScheme and want to manipulate some things in the return value. There I've got to access the velocity components for each direction seperately and this don't work. What's the reason for? I checked the hole way from icoFoam to the scheme and with beginning in gaussConvectionScheme access is forbidden. Of Course I can take U as lookupObject, but this would cause trouble with the return type... Can you help me? thanks
