Hi everybody,

I was reading some post about boundary conditions and in one this post Prof. Jasak commented about the newDirectionMixedFvPatchField b.c.. I'd like to know how I make this b.c. run in my solver and how I declare in my case.

Thanks.

Hi Marcelo,

newDirectionMixedFvPatchField is available in OpenFOAM-1.5-dev in $HOME/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-1.5-dev/applications/solvers/newStressAnalysis/materialModels/fvPatchFields. Personally I have never used newDirectionMixedFvPatchField, but maybe this thread can give some insight.

Hi Gijsbert

Thanks your attention, but I already read this post and I didn't get to run this boundary condition. This boundary condition is a default boundary condition inside OpenFoam or I should implement before to run my case.

Thanks again.

Regards.
