a.werner is on a distinguished road
Hello, I am trying to calculate the charge of particles moving in a space charge field. The idea is to create a variable in the Cloud.H that contains the charge per time step and can be read in the “kinematicCloudProperties” in a Coulomb force.
The calculation of the charge should be implemented in Cloud.H using a mathematical charging model.

I have not been with OF for long and therefore do not know whether the procedure is correct/conducive. I have v2312.

Is it possible to copy the Cloud.H file to my run directory and change and recompile it there? I am having difficulties with this.

Thank you in advance for any feedback.

Best regards
