Hi everyone,
I'm wondering if the SRF library is applicable to a multiphase case. I have a cylindrical geometry with rotational movement along its center axis, as shown in the attached figure. The red face in the figure represents the inlet, where gas is injected into the domain from the curved wall. I've attempted to use rotatingPressureInletOutletVelocity for the gas velocity boundary condition at the inlet, but I want to model the geometry rotation as well. I want to model this using the two-fluid model (gas-solid), specifically with the multiphaseEulerFOAM solver in OpenFOAM 8. I appreciate any suggestions and guidance for modeling this case. Kind regards, Hamed |

SRF is specific to SRFSimpleFoam and SRFPimpleFoam which are single phase. MRF can be used for any solver, single or multiphase. With MRF you can set it up as SRF by defining stationary and moving walls similar to how you'd do it in a commerical code like FLUENT
