Hello to everyone,
I am new to OpenFoam. I have a simple laminar simulation and I want to compute and output the heat flux vector (thermalConductivity*grad(T)) for all the cells of my domain. I have found that you can get the heat flux normal to the domain boundaries using the wallHeatFlux utility. However, I cannot find anything helpful on the heat flux vector in a cell. I would be grateful if anyone can provide a solution or point me towards one. Thanks for any help. |

I guess you use paraview? Have you loaded the also the paches. The heat flux field should be defined on the walls (and in the cells of the internal field).
