Hi all,

I'm wondering why is the fvOption JouleHeatingSource not available in openfoam7? It was in openfoam v2006.

Is there any equivalent I could use to add a joule effect term in buoyantPimpleFoam? Looking up for an easy solution rather than modifying the solver.

OpenFOAM 7 and OpenFOAM v2006 come from different producers. Take a look here: OpenFOAM.com versus OpenFOAM.org: Which version to use?

Thanks a lot for the reply! I didn't know about the distinction.

Anyone knows if OpenFOAM7 has an equivilent of the fvOption jouleHeatingSource ?
