Hi all,
I am simulating wind on a highrise building and I need to check if a face center lies on a patch that is not being meshed. I have a couple of .stl-files that describes my geometry and that I include in snappy for meshing. I need to assign a constant value to each face that I will use for further computations and I therefore thought I could provide a list that links each patch in a second set of stl-files (that also describes the complete geometry but by more and different files) with a constant value and check on which patch each of my meshed faces lie. The second set of stl's are NOT included in the snappyDict and hence not meshed, however they are found in the constant/triSurface directory. A bit tricky to explain my problem but I hope someone understands what it is I am trying to do and it would be great if someone could help me out here. Thanks, David |
