Overset implementation for heat transfer solvers using foam-extend-4.1

Hello,
as per topic title, I was wondering if is possible to implement foam-extend overset capabilities into different solvers like buoyantSimpleFoam or rhoSimpleFoam.

I need to solve heat transfer for an internal flow case and I had good results with simpleOversetFoam despite interpolation errors. As I need to make a design study with different geometries, I'd like to make use of overset method to avoid remeshing, but foam-extend doesn't ship any heat transfer overset solvers.

Before going throu code editing, I just wanted to ask you if one of these solution may be doable:

1. To add overset to rhoSimpleFoam, following how it's implemented in incompressible solvers

2. To add overset to buoyantBoussinesqSimpleFoam (may be easier as it's incompressible?)

3. To add temperature equation to simpleOversetFoam (any ideas on this subject?)

In the openFoam.com version there is a compressible overset solver https://develop.openfoam.com/Develop...oPimpleDyMFoam

So you can find there some inspiration how to achieve things in the extend version
