Hello.
Topic: Electrohydrodynamic solver I am trying to update a functional code (originally developed on OF211) from EHDFoam to OF6 (my own code) EHDFoam . EHDFoam contains few validation cases. I am able to get similar results for charge bump relaxation case, and conducting cylinder case (both found in cases/validation_v2). However, when I run the BjorklundBreakupDrop case (using my modified updated solver on OF6) which deals with electric field interaction and fluid-fluid interface, my results are not similar as shown in the images below. (OF211 was updated to OF231 which showed similar results according to the paper [1]) I would appreciate if anyone could help me with this. [1] https://ris.utwente.nl/ws/portalfile...l_draft_v1.pdf |

Hi Mmalik,
I am also trying to create an EHD solver on OF but am fairly new to the software. I have tried running the validation cases using your code in OF6 but have ran into a string of errors when running the ./Allrun script. If it is possible, could you please share the modified case files you have used in validating your code? Thank you! |
