Hello everyone, I am Zhang Li. It is my first time using openFOAM.
I am a master student major in architecture and working on internal thermal environment simulation. My topic is evaluating the effect and efficiency of using PCM (phase change material) floor in a room. As you know, the properties of PCM will change due to the change of temperature. My method is treating PCM as a changing boundary condition, then simulate air temperature in the room. In this way, I might need to add some equations to make boundary condition as a changing condition. For example, usually temperature conductivity is a fixed value but in my case, K=f(θ) (K is Temperature conductivity, θ is Temperature). Besides, is it proper to use `bouyantBoussinesqPimple` solver in this case. I am sorry that I nearly have no knowledge on programming. I am really appreciate if anyone can give an idea and suggestion. Thank you. |
