Hey,

this issue is about a multiphase simulation. I modified the reactingParcelFoam solver for for the phase change from particles/parcels to a specie of the carrier phase. Therefore I am using a phaseChange model related to the LiquidEvaporation model. Now this model should be extended by a phase fraction volume field generated in a beforehand simulation (interFoam). The phase transfer must be limited to one phase of the alpha field. For that, the alpha volScalarField is read in createFields initially.

Now my question: How can I acces the alpha phase fraction in the ReactingParcel class, which calls the the phase change model in a computational efficient manner?

Thanks in advance!
