Knowing the compatibility of patchField types with physical boundary types

Sorry everyone for a rather confusing title. I could not frame it better.
As we know, each physical boundary type has a list of valid patchField types. Eg: timeVaryingMappedFixedValue is allowed for physical boundary type "inlet" but not for "wall". I want to know where these compatibilities are defined. There is certain BC which is currently applicable only to inlets/outlets but not to wall. I wish to make it compatible with the wall type as well. Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance. |
