Hi all,
I would like to link OpenFOAM with an external tool calculating "on the fly" the motion of a vehicle simulated with an overset grid. What I tried is to edit the dynamicMeshDict file during run. In the log, it says the file is re-read: From function virtual bool Foam::regIOobject::readIfModified() in file db/regIOobject/regIOobjectRead.C at line 281 Re-reading object dynamicMeshDict from file "/home/[...]/constant/dynamicMeshDict" but it has no effect on the simulation, unless we stop it and re-launch the solver... Any way to allow OF overset grid motion to be driven by an external tool "on the fly" ? |
