OpenFoam - Simulation suddenly stops, reactingFoam

Hi guys i'm new in the forum and with OpenFoam!
I'm trying to simulate a combustion with a tutorial and the application is "reactingFoam". I've changed a bit the geometry, adding blocks and faces, but the mesh is ok and the simulation starts without problems.

But suddenly(after so many minutes of simulation) in "top" I can't see my simulation running, it stops without sayin any error and the simulation is not completed, and I do not know why it stops...

Any suggestions?

Hello,

It's difficult to answer based on the Problem stated by you. If you could explain more Maybe someone could answer better. Mostly, the Problem would be because of the incorrect boundary conditions.
Please try to invest some time by reading the source files for this solver and also check out the suitable coundary conditions for your case.
I dont know if you have also changed the bpundary conditions such as Pressure? Please let know if it has worked out for you by this time.

Hi Akanksha90, thanks for the reply.
I didnt change BC for pressure, but just the velocity BC for the "leftSide" of my geometry.
The strange thing is that the simulation stopped without saying any error... Anyway I found the solution(maybe).

I did my simulations with my laptop, that is not so powerful (in terms of processor - I've a intel pentium 4415U). I noticed that the simulation stopped when my laptop was in "full power for performance" and when I changed this setup, I didn't have that problem anymore and the simulation ran correctly it seems... but I really don't know if that was the problem. Maybe my laptop is not so good and somehow it stopped the most energy-consumer application in that moment..
