Hey Foamers
I need some sort of help I am trying to implement Surface tension mdoel proposed in: Raeini et al., Modelling two-phase flow in porous media at the pore scale using the volume-of-fluid method, Journal of Computational Physics, 231, 17,2012, 5653-5668 (https://www.sciencedirect.com/scienc...1999112001830#!). I have actually tried to implement this (attached is the source code) in interFoam for Openfoam 6. I tried the case were square bubble deforms into a circular bubble. When I look at the pressure field, the pressures are higher at the square corners. Even though the pressures are higher, the model does not deform into a circular bubble when I run the simulation. I have attached both the case file for simulation (discussed before) and solver that I have tried to implemented. Since the pressure is calculated reasonably as expected, I suspect it has something to do with the velocity updating after the p_rghEqn is solved. Anyone has any thoughts/experience about how or what the problem is, it would be super awesome!! Thank you in advance! BR Kurian Last edited by kuria; April 1, 2019 at 11:49. |
