Hello Foamers,
I am trying to implement a modified version of LienCubicKE turbulence model in OpenFOAM 5.0. This existing turbulence model is available in $FOAM_SRC/TurbulenceModels/incompressible/turbulentTransportModels/RAS/LienCubicKE. I am always getting this error: incompressible/turbulentTransportModels/myTurbulentTransportModels.H:52:51: error: ‘Foam::RASModels’ has not been declared (transportModelIncompressibleTurbulenceModel, RAS, Type) Though, I tried implementing my modified Launder Sharma, realizableKE using this link (http://hassankassem.me/posts/newturbulencemodel) and was successful in the first attempt. Did anyone know how to solve this problem? |

Hi Rohit, I've been having trouble utilizing the liencubicKE model implemented in OF5, the normal Reynolds stresses in some regions appear as negative which is impossible. There is also a strange ripple pattern in these regions. I've been looking to modify the source code as well but didn't know where to start exactly.
What exactly did you find in the code that needed to be modified? |
