Hi everyone,
I am interested in modifying the existing boundary condition 'variableHeightFlowRateInletVelocity'. This BC may be used as Code:
{ type variableHeightFlowRateInletVelocity; flowRate 0.2; value uniform (0 0 0); // placeholder } Now, suppose a pipe with one inlet and one outlet. At the inlet, both phases occupy half of the inlet patch, initially. When the flow starts, I would like to adjust the height of the occupied region due to the specified volumetric flows of both phases. So, what happens is that the heights adjusts but the velocity of the other phase is set to zero. Is there a way to set a constant volumetric flow to the other phase? Hopefully, someone is interested enough to understand my problem Cheers, Martin |

I'm just not sure what you mean by "heights adjusts" and do you mean phase as in air and water? |
