Hello Friends,
I wanted to implement moving mesh for sonicLiquidFoam in order to solve 1-D expansion in a canal. First I studied ALE and found that we have to: 1- For momnetum: phi-->phiRel (Like for icoDyMFoam) 2- For pressure Equ.: for convective term "v" must be replaced by "c" as below: ∂ρ/∂t + c · ∇ρ = −ρ ∇ · v where c=v-v_mesh (This term doesn't appear in icoDymFoam since there is no transient term (Am I right?) In order to have an idea about how to implement moving mesh for pEqn, I studied sonicDyMFoam and found out that it just uses phiRel for pEqn. I was wondering if there is any reference to understand why? |
