Solving only specific cells with interFoam

Hi!
I have made a solver which extracts cell IDs based on certain parameters. My entire domain is being tracked by interFoam initially. Once these cells have been identified, I don't want interFoam to track them. I am using another solver for tracking them. I know one way is to modify the volume fraction of those cells to 0 but this poses several issues, the biggest one being that the solver crashes because of sudden change in volume fraction. Can someone share their views regarding this? Thanks in advance Vishwesh |
