Hello everyone!
I am trying to simulate Stefan's problem with an compressible air gap on top. I included the fvOptions 'solidificationMeltingSource' for simulating the melting in the solid/liquid part which I set using . But for some reason, the entire domain gets filled with the solid/liquid part and there is no more air on top. I tried to implement it the way it was done here for Gallium melting: Tutorial/functional case for solidificationMeltingSource When I run the solver after I run setFields and topoSet, there is no more metal melting fraction (sMS1:alpha1) in the solved timesteps folders which I think indicates that the fvOptions is not active for some reason. I am new to OpenFOAM and I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Thanks Last edited by waterbender; July 18, 2017 at 07:09. |
