Hi,
I am new to OpenFOAM and I have been reading some posts on IBM in OpenFOAM? I would like to know as of now, what is the current status of IBM in OpenFOAM? 1. Can it run in parallel, both in the solver and ibm body pre-processing? 2. Does it work with FSI problem? 3. Is IBM already in OpenFOAM 4 or OpenFOAM extend? Or is it a separate download? 4. I have an in-house IBM NS solver working in parallel and I wonder it serves any purpose if I tried to add my routine and algorithm into OpenFOAM. Thanks in advance. |

IBM is implemented in foam extend. Some example solvers are in place.
