Hi foamers,
so im currently getting my head around stratification in channel flows and I wanted to modify a solver I'm currently working on. The problem is that at some point in the iteration I would like to determine the fluctuation of density equal to the difference between the density field and its average over the horizontal plane. I guess I could do a forAll cycle for each horizontal plane, create a volScalarField and save that same value for all cells with that specific height, but I find the method a bit rudimentary; Is there a cleaner way it could be done? |
