Hi all,
I am learning openfoam programming via the source code, but cant understand how the read and write happens in files like controlDict. How the IOobject, regobject and object registry works?
If there are some detail documents helping me understand the basement of OF, I will be greatly appreciated.
my e-mail is wanglongyun@buaa.edu.cn

Hi Longyun,

Have you seen the wiki's OpenFOAM guide?

Look at https://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/OpenFOAM_guide

and also https://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/O...IOobject_class

Best Regards,
Paulo
