D.R. is on a distinguished road
Hello All,
I have been writing a fair bit of code(into interFoam in OF.2.1.1) recently and was trying to determine if I am overdoing it. Is there a better or correct way to implement knowledge of values across both processor patches and say cyclic patches for scalars and vectors, i.e. interprocessor communication of geometric field quantities(volScalarField, volVectorField, etc.)

I was looking for an example to follow, and I have been searching for documentation on how the volume fraction in interFoam communicates from one processor to another. Is there a guide to how the parallel communication works across processors for scalars and vectors in openfoam? if so, would someone be kind enough to post a link, i would be most grateful. Have a good day.
