ilfrance90 is on a distinguished road
Hi all,

I'm using OF 4.0 and I've developed a simple solver based on rhoPimpleFoam which solves all the NSE for compressible single-phase flow with the energy equation. Moreover it solves another scalar transport equation (Beta eqn).

It works with no problems.

Now I need to define the equation of state and the transport properties of the fluid as functions of the scalar Beta. In order to do this I think I need to access to the volScalarField Beta in my CustomeqnOfState.C file and in my CustomTransport.C file.

Am i right? How can I access the scalar Filed Beta?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Best Regards,

Francesco
