Hi everybody,

I'd like to run a 2D simulation with the data extracted from a patch of a 3D simulation.

I mean that i've the results of a 3D simulation and I'm interested only in the values assumed on a patch because they are the data for a 2D simulation.

Do you have any suggestion about how to build this new mesh for the 2D problem preserving the value of the variables obtained thanks to the 3D simulation??
