Recently develop the coupled model of DPM+multiphaseInterFoam. The simulation was taken gas-oil-water-particle 4phase flow in a riser (the tutorial of original MPPICinterFoam which can be only for gas-liquid-particle 3phase flow) shown in the figure. Initially the tube held water (blue color), oil (gray color) and gas (red color). The solid particle with gas was injected from the bottom inlet hole. The gas-particle goes through water in the inner riser first and then enters into oil layer. There gas, particle, oil and water droplets were thrown into gas space at the top of oil layer. Due to the gravity, these heavy particles and droplets fell down into oil again at outside of the inner riser. This process is a gas-oil-water-particle 4phase flow with was coupled by DPM and multiphase VOF.
