Hi all,
This is kind of a noobish question as I am not unfamiliar with OpenFOAM and CFD or in fact, fluid dynamics. After some reading, I came to understand that there are different model for turbulence (the wiki is a great source). How can the model be changed, for instance from k-epsilon to LES, how can it be done? Next question is regarding steady state and non steady state. How can this be accomplished? Is it done simply by using simpleFoam (or any other solver for steady state flow) with ddtschemes as steady state for steady state and icoFoam (or any other solver for unsteady state flow) with ddschemes as Euler for unsteady? Thanks in advance for entertaining this noobish question!!! |
