Hi Foamers,
I am currently running a problem with high angle of attack assuming laminar flow. However, I had convergence problem with all the schemes (div) in OpenFOAM if laminar for AOA>5° and even when assuming inviscid(- viscous term). But if using turbulence models, no problem. The author of the journal I am verifying assumed laminar flow and used operator-splitting method with vorticity transport model which I discovered is currently not available in OpenFOAM. Can anyone testify to this and if having any clue about how to implement this method, I will really appreciate your contributions. |
