rhoReactinBuoyantFoam - Buoyant Mixing of two gases

Hi,
I am trying to implement mixing of buoyant turbulent helium jet with ambient air. I have taken rhoReactingBuoyantFoam and dropped the eEeqn as I am doing an iso Thermal jet. I switched of both chemistry and combustion. The velocity is dissipating immediately after the entrance and its quite strange and dont know to address this issue. velocity.png My Thermo settings are Code:
thermoType { type heRhoThermo; mixture multiComponentMixture; transport const; thermo hConst; energy sensibleInternalEnergy; equationOfState incompressiblePerfectGas; specie specie; } Code:
LESModel Smagorinsky; turbulence on; printCoeffs on; delta cubeRootVol; cubeRootVolCoeffs { deltaCoeff 1; } SmagorinskyCoeffs { filter simple; ce 1.048; } domain.png The mesh is coarse to check the running of the simulation at 1.7M cells. mesh.png Attached are also the boundary conditions and schemes used. 0.tar.gz system.tar.gz Hope somebody can provide some suggestions to find the issue of the velocity dissipating immediately after the inlet. Cheers |
