Hi All,

I want to calculate the normal gradient of temperature on a curved surface. I'm trying to create a new utility 'wallGradT' for that and tried to edit the already existing utility 'wallGradU', but couldn't get it working. The problem is because of scalar/vector difference. Could somebody please tell me what all changes I've to make here?

Also, I found this piece of code here, to calculate the gradT using funkySetFields.
Code:
funkySetFields -latestTime -create -field gradT -expression "grad(T)"
This is working perfectly and so I tried to use snGrad(T) instead of grad(T) and got the output file. But I'm not able to read that from paraview. Please help on this also.

Thanks
