Dear Openfoam user,

I'm actually an Eilmer user www.mech.uq.edu.au/cfcfd/, there is a bug in my program that might need your help. I recently wrote codes of moving wall and periodic boundary condition, then I want to verify my codes, so taylor-couette flow was simulated.

the west surface is moving wall boundary condition, the east surface is fixed temperature wall, the north and south surfaces are connected with periodic boundary condition, top and bottom surfaces are both slip wall.

However, when I running this case, I found that the total mass in the whole domain is actually dropping.

outer wall stationary-fixed temperature, inner wall moving-direction +
total mass at 0.0 ms is 8.06405471129e-09
total mass at 0.001 ms is 8.06002005769e-09
total mass at 0.002 ms is 8.05961695255e-09
total mass at 0.003 ms is 8.0594894761e-09
total mass at 0.004 ms is 8.0594079229e-09
total mass at 0.005 ms is 8.05934045038e-09

Then I set the velocity of moving wall to zero, the total mass is increasing.

outer wall stationary-fixed temperature, inner wall moving-stationary
total mass at 0.0 ms is 8.06405471129e-09
total mass at 0.001 ms is 8.06417872462e-09
total mass at 0.002 ms is 8.0642172176e-09
total mass at 0.003 ms is 8.06422217892e-09
total mass at 0.004 ms is 8.06422215105e-09
total mass at 0.005 ms is 8.06422259371e-09

looked like that there is leakage at the curved walls. Does anybody know how to fix this problem? do you have the same problem in Openfoam?

Thanks in advance!
