Dear Foamers
my thesis is "Hydro-Elastic Analyzing Of Wedge Water Entry" I run openfoam in hydrodynamic state by interDymFoam Solver, without considering FSI... But it is a long time that I couldn’t make a FSI Solver for my case... Please guide me Is there any structural software easily coupled with OpenFoam? Is there any other easy way? Best Regards Rolix |

Greetings Rolix,
Elmer comes to mind as a structural solver, but I can't find any tutorial that explains how to couple Elmer with OpenFOAM. But let's step back a bit. I asked you (via private messages) to post your question here because I wanted to review the steps you've taken so far. Since you didn't give the description I was expecting, here are a few questions:
Best regards, Bruno

Based on Ubuntu 12.04, it features a full software solution for professional 3D FE analysis from CAD geometry. It includes the OpenFOAM 1.6-ext,OpenFOAM 2.1.1,OpenFOAM 2.2.1,OpenFOAM 2.2.2 CFD solvers, GNU Octave, Scilab, elipse IDE and more.
