Hi
Does anyone know that the function renumberMesh would change the value of points and why? I run "renumberMesh -orderpoints" and found out that the value of points had been changed. I was so surprised about this.
Thanks
Yu

Hi Yu,

Could you please tell which version you are using? I have tried looking in 2.2.1 and 1.6-ext and none of these recognise the "-orderpoints" option.

Kind regards

Niels

Hi,

Sorry for the late reply. I have just checked, and the method seems to be changing the point ordering, such that all internal points are first in the pointField followed by all the points on the boundaries.

The option, however, has not caused any problems in terms of mesh quality or improper correction of the indexing of the faces. But you experienced problems?

Kind regards,

Niels
