Hello openFoamers,

I have some data that is being written to the screen at each time step, and I would like to output it to a text file as well. Does anyone have any insight into the process? This code is not in the solver but in the source class.

This is probably a very simple fix....but I have been at a complete loss.

Regards,
Tyler

i think you can do something like "icoFoam > log.txt", which runs icoFoam and directs all outputs to the text file instead. and use "tail -f log.txt" to see the live update of the log file.
