Dear All,
I want to simulate Wave equation as: laplacian(p)+k^2*p=... in which k (wave number) has both real and imaginary part. Thus, the pressure field would be a complex scalar field. Then, I need gradient and laplacian of its magnitude. It means it should be a volScalarfield or volVectorfield to apply those mathematical operations. Has anybody experience with defining a complex scalar field and mathematical operations on it? I've seen something in dnsFoam in defining fft for random fluctuations. However, It is not useful because it works only with complex numbers and not with complex fields. any comment is appreciated. Thanks in advance, RJ |
